Migrating Microsoft ToDo tasks from one account to an other one
I am using a great deal ToDo from Microsoft, and I had recently to move my tasks (including categories, …) to another Microsoft account.
While it’s not trivia, it’s not overcomplicated when you know where to look for. The important thing to know if that Microsoft ToDo is storing its content in your Microsoft Office 365 mailbox, in the “Tasks” folder. Once you know this it’s quite easy to understand how to proceed
- Step 1 / From your Office 365 mailbox, export all the content of the “Tasks” folder to a PST file. You will need an Outlook client connected to this account to do so
- Step 2/ Once you have a PST file, connect with Outlook to your new account on Office 365. Use the import function to import the content of the previously exported tasks to your mailbox, in the same “Tasks” folder
- Step 3/ Open ToDo and connect it to your second account. Once the content imported in your mailbox is synchronized to the Cloud, you will see your tasks appearing progressively in ToDo !
